Updated 11/6/08 Reesie, my friend Karin's Maltipoo is sitting on a blanket that Karin made for little 13 yr. old Gabee Perlis of Naverre, FL. Gabee is facing a kidney transplant and is already on dialysis. You can click on this link for information on helping Gabee's family. This is dated information, but there is a contact number listed. Also, you can link to a picture of Gabee as well as a link with an article on Gabee and her situation. Please pray for a miracle for dear Gabee and her family! Above is Beanie who is with her new family Bob, Marla, Ryan and Ally in Ohio! Marla recently updated us on Beanie...."Beanie is wonderful, precious, loving, adorable, a rascal, funny, playful, good, loyal and an angel. She has such a sweet personality...she just wants to be around people and other animals. Everyone in the neighborhood loves her and she is our little ambassador! She is walking on a leash now and seems comfortable (not very far, just the bus stop...where all the children go crazy over her). One person said it best when she said, "This might be the most adorable puppy I have ever seen".
She also says that Beanie is almost housetrained (occasional mistakes), is very smart, sitting for a treat and since she is still so small, maneuvering around to get on the couch, can climb stairs but is still hesitant to go down! Marla also says Ryan and Ally "adore her and play with her all time". "To sum it up, we love Beanie. We call her Beanie Baby, Queen Bean, Bean Bag, Bean, Beanster. She is always good tempered and just enjoys our company." Pictured above is Isabella "Bella" and she is in her new home with daddy Mark and mommy Sheree. Daddy says she is so smart already! They have a tri-level home and Bella followed Mark UP the steps her first few hours there! She is very inquisitive and not a bit bashful! She lives in Fayetteville, AR with her daddy and mommy! Sheree has called several times to tell me how much she "adored....absolutely adored" her new "waddle bottom" girl! She says that Bella already sleeps with them,
waking up mommy to let her potty. Bella has a canine Maltese brother, Diesel, and they get along wonderfully, according to Sheree. (Left)Aundra is mommy and Clayton is daddy to Cricket, their new Maltipoo baby girl! Cricket came to visit us the other afternoon and she is still such a beautiful baby girl Maltipoo! She is very playful and loving! Aundra says everyone in their family just love and enjoy Cricket so much! They all make their home in De Queen, AR and they love their new little bundle of joy so much! (Right) Tucker is now living in the Houston, TX area with his new mommy, Kim and daddy, Lewis. Tucker is Cricket's, Angel's, and Beanie's only brother. "OH RISA, HE'S SO CUTE!!!" was Snuggles' mommy's first words when she picked him up from the airport in New Jersey! Jose and Noelia are the proud parents
of little Snuggles. Noelia says he loves watching cartoons with his human sister! His new vet said he is perfectly healthy and has been well taken care of prior to arriving to live with Jose and Noelia! Snuggles and his mommy, Noelia on the left and Snuggles in his toy box! Noelia says, "Snuggles is doing well. He is so smart and has brought so much joy to our lives. He is now 7 months old and he loves to go outside! I think he is going to like the cold (weather). He goes for walks at least 3 times a day. The park is right across the street from us so he gets his share of exercise!" Snuggles on a Dunkin Donut run with mom! She says the people who work there know Snuggles too! He had his jacket on while riding in his car seat! What a life! I love it! Oakley after seeing her new groomer! Mommy Sandy is very pleased with her new "do"! Pretty girl!!!
BEFORE: Oakley, after romping outside with 3 cat buddies. Laying in the kitchen cooling off and then back out 10 minutes later! She needs a haircut! Photo on June 12, 08 - Tracy. AFTER: Oakley got her haircut! How precious is that sweet little girl in her "big girl" summer clip? During a recent camping trip, Tracy writes, "Oakley spent her first nights sleeping in our bed on this trip w/no accidents... Hooray!" Oakley's new parents with their little darlin' the day she went to her new home in Louisiana! Tracy and Sandy introduced Oakley to her cat siblings and so far, she's had a ball-hopefully not a furball! Lillie and Eli (canine brother) taking it easy in Louisiana! Kami says says she is so funny - goes like crazy and then
falls out in a nap! She is such a joy and they love her very much! With the updated picture, Kami writes, "Lillie weighs 5-1/2 lbs. as of this week (about 4 mos.) and she is doing great! The vet thinks she is just so cute and lovable. Everyone seems to want her or one just like her!" Paula, in Central Arkansas, says the same thing (that Snuggles' mom said) about her Missy playing so hard
and then will fall over on her back and be sound asleep! Missy evidently has a favorite shrub to run around while playing hide-n-seek with her mommy! I think mommy has house training on her mind! Risa,
Just wanted to send you a few pictures of Missy and me, my daughter Casey and Missy showing off her new pink bow! We love Missy! She is a bundle of energy and she keeps us on our toes! Love, Paula Hi Risa! I just wanted to update you on Toby. He is doing wonderful. We have begun potty training him, and he is doing great! Only a few accidents here and there. He is just so adorable!
Everyone who meets him just falls in love with him and his teddy bear face. He is so funny, instead of sleeping on his bed, he flips it over and lays underneath it like he is in a cave. It's so cute! If anyone ever needs a reference feel free to give them my email address I will be glad to speak on your behalf on what a wonderful puppy you have bred!
It took KoKo a little while to warm up to Toby but now they are so funny together! They play all morning until they get worn out and then they take a nap on Koko's bed cuddling together. I attached some more new photographs of Toby, everyone who sees them thinks he looks either like a teddy bear or fake, because he is just too darn cute! Hope everything is well. The new puppies are adorable also! Best regards. Meghan Toby flew to his new home with Meghan
and her family in Connecticut! Meghan LOVES her little boy! I think it must be LOVE!!! Ollie and his mommy, Allie, after she got home from school! Looks like he really missed her! Big dog, little dog! Boomer is a Greyhound/Shepherd mix and Reesie's, brother! Karin is holding Reesie and I am holding Ollie. If we looked tired, we were worn out! We stayed up until 3 a.m. talking! Karin had to leave our house at 9 a.m. that morning headed back to California! Our visit was too short! I miss you, my friend! In the picture on the right, we believe Reesie is thinking....Mom just brushed my hair again! I HATE that! Reesie is running while Dupree, his Maltese brother plays catch up from behind! Then a little quiet time with his tennis ball! "Reesie is a perfect angel. He slept all night on our bed between Randy and me! I, however, woke up 500 times to check on him and feel for him.
I had him snuggled up next to me. He would wake up and move himself over to snuggle next to Randy. Then I'd wake up again and feel for Reesie and the little booger was back over with his Dad! He is doing GREAT! WE LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!! He is having fun
playing with us and Dupree (Maltese boy). Dupree and Reesie were chasing each other out back on the grass today. It was SOOO cute!! I have never seen Dupree that
animated and happy! Reesie had so much FUN! He had his happy face on too! The both of them running back and forth, round and round, smiles and tongue
hanging out-pure joy on their faces!!" On the left, Reesie is 7 months here and on the right, he is now a year old! Isn't he beautiful? In left picture, Aunt Aundria, Abigail & Anna with Shelby (right) and her mom, Tootie and siblings. Right picture is Shelby at her new home in her "toy box"! Allison writes, "Shelby ate, drank, went OUTSIDE to potty then went to HER bed to sleep ALL night! She woke up at 6am to eat, drink, play and go potty OUTSIDE, again!! She is brilliant!! She has gone potty outside everytime with no accidents! She is eating and drinking very well and enjoys chasing bugs and pulling weeds (she's very helpful).
Risa, I want to thank you for everything! You have made our adoption such a wonderful experience. My family and I are totally in love. I am absolutely enjoying every second. Watching my kiddos smiles and hearing their laughter is PRICELESS!
Thank you for giving me an Angel to love! Sincerely, Allison (in Texas) Shelby's Mommy". Shelby also has 2 human brothers, Michael and Aiden! Allison recently writes, "She is adorable! I am so grateful to you and David for giving me another precious baby to love. Also thank Tootie and Pedee!! She is PERFECT!!" Ric's and Rita's new Maltipoo baby, Mia. She went out to meet her new mommy and daddy when they drove up to get her.
Rita writes, "Hi Risa and David, Just wanted to let you know we enjoyed meeting and visiting with you both. The trip home was great. Mia slept on my lap most of the way. We stopped and she went potty! She also drank plenty of water. When we got home, I had a box that I lined and placed the blanket I had her on in the car in the box. I put the box beside my bed so she could see me. She cried for about 10 minutes and then fell off to sleep. This morning Ric took her out and she went potty in the backyard. She ate well this morning. We are enjoying her so very much. Thanks for giving us such a wonderful addition to our family!
Rita." Recently, Rita reported that, "Mia is great. She has grown some - 3.4# last trip to the vet. She got her puppy cut and she looks like a big girl now..the ball of fluff is gone. She comes to work with me every day. We keep each other company. I’ll try to take some pictures soon." Mia on her mommy's desk at work! Jana writes,"Lola is precious and we love her. She sleeps with us now and Belle (Golden Retriever) sleeps with Shelby. They are both rotten!! Lola is very sassy, if you tell her no, she will bark or growl at you!! She definetly has a prissy little attitude. We really love her and Belle loves her most of the time :o) I think Lola can wear Belle out sometimes, but Belle hangs in there pretty good for her age (almost 13).
I'll email again soon with some more pics!! Good luck with the other puppies, if you need a reference, feel free to use us!!" Lola weighs 5 lbs. and according to her vet, this should be her adult weight. "AWWWW, Risa! She is so sweet!" were Sassy Baby's new mommy, Karan's first words. "She has so much personality. We love her already" Karan states.
"She pounced on the vet as soon as he opened the door. He laughed and asked if she were an attack dog! He was amazed that she was so outgoing-said she has a great personalityand that normally small breeds, and especially one her age, usually hid behind their masters but not this one! She is a live wire and so cute and cuddly! We are making strides in our potty training too. No accidents in the house this week!" Thanks to all of our wonderful families who have adopted these babies into their lives and homes! We've enjoyed being able to meet some of you in person or even if we were only able to know you just over the phone, we feel that we have made new friends!
It's a wonderful feeling to us to be able to make new friends all because of a precious little puppy!
