Hank,left, and Izzy on right are at home in Massachusetts with the Hiersche family! Hank came from us and the Hiersches love him so much they found him a sister, another Shih Poo named Izzy, closer to them and they adopted her! Hank's mommy says they are busy planning Hank's 1st birthday party(April 4, 2010)! Too cute!

Piper is home in Harlingen with her new family, Chuck, Sandi, Pip (Pom) and Mogi (Shih Poo)! She is doing fantastic after a super long day getting home! She has met her new folks and is loving being home at last!

Lilly is at home with her mommy Mikayla in Arkansas! Mikayla says Lilly slept well her first night and she and her sister Bella had a blast with their piddle pads! These girls are going to be a blast to keep up with!

Bella is finally home with her mommy too! Mommy Sydney said Bella and Lilly woke her up at 6 a.m. playing and when she got back up later, they had the pads in their bed!

Zoey is now in Katy, TX with her new mommy, Malissa and human brother, Cade. Malissa says that Zoey follows Cade around everywhere and she seems to truly love them so much already! Malissa called me and said, "She is doing so much better than I ever expected - as far as acting like she's been here all along! I was worried Zoey would miss her siblings and you (Risa). I hate to tell you this, but I don't think she misses you!" That's okay, Malissa, because I want her to be happy with you! That's what I strive for - a well adjusted puppy that walks in to it's new home like it's always been theirs!

Hal is in New York! He and his new family live in Syosset, NY. They already love him dearly! Lisa said he is adjusting to his new brothers and sister as well as Mercedes, his dog! Hal is in Emma's arms while being introduced to Mercedes!

Socks will make his new home in Gillham, AR with his new mommy, Cindy!

Rocky and his new mommy, Andreia in New Jersey writes, "Just wanted to let you know Rocky has stolen my entire family's heart. He is the sweetest little guy! We decided to keep his name because it suits him well. He is adjusting fine. He's using the wee wee pad in the house and he also goes out on the patio. He's eating good and plays all day long. He is so lovable! When I got home from work yesterday he ran to me and gave me kisses. Rocky and my other dog Simba are getting along better. Simba was mad at Rocky for a day because Rocky bit Simba's leg. I caught them last night up and playing when I thought they were sleeping. They are the cutest together! I actually have a video of the little guy chasing Simba around. I took Rocky to the vet last night, he received his 9th week shot. Next month he has to go back for another vaccination. We love him very much!! My father states he looks like a little owl and my mother has been telling everyone she has a new grandson. I will be sending you pictures soon. Have a good day. Ryan, Hal's lil' human brother, and Hal are getting acquainted with one another through puppy "sugars" (that's what we call kisses in Arkansas)!

Baby Girl is in her new home with her new mommy, Ashton in Arkansas! Ashton and Laurie, Baby Girl's grandma, couldn't believe how little Baby Girl actually was! She is so friendly and just loved her new mommy! Laurie says that Baby Girl adjusted to her new home wonderfully and is starting to potty train!

Brady at top with Amanda's sister, Chey, in the middle is playing with his mommy's friend and with mommy Amanda in the bottom picture. They reside in Woodstock, GA and she says, "He is running around playing non-stop, so playful and full of energy just as you said! My sister and I were up until almost 4 a.m. playing with him - we were so excited we couldn't go to bed! I put him in his kennel to sleep, he whined for awhile but eventually fell asleep and was good in there until I got up at around 8 this morning. So far, so good! Amanda writes (1-21-09), "Well I have to hand it to you, whatever you do in your breeding choices definitely makes some smart pooches. I would say Brady is pretty much housebroken. The only time he goes inside is when I don't hear him ring his bell, which is such an adorable thing to see, he loves it! Sometimes he just plays with the bell and I think he has to go out so I open the door to the freeeeeeezing cold world and he just stands there like "woa, it's cold out, close the door so I can play with my bell please!" lol, it's too cute! I will have to take some more pics for you, he looks like he's gotten a bit bigger, so it's time for more photo-ops! Thanks again Risa, talk to you soon! Lola, on the right, is happy in her new home with Paula and her family in Ft. Worth! Paula sent this note and the newest picture of Lola saying the picture doesn't do her justice but I don't know how much cuter she could get!! "She is a MUDBUG," Paula says. "You may think she's a Shih Poo but she is a purebred Arkansas Water Dog. If there is one spot in the yard that's still wet and muddy she will find it and she won't come in until she's completely covered in mud. One day she had her front feet and entire head in the water bowl in the kitchen just digging and splashing away. When I yelled her name she hopped into the bowl with her back feet and set her butt down in it. I was laughing too hard! Whiskey (totally unrelated Maltese/Poodle/Shih Tzu mix friend on the left) has totally housebroken her. That was the easiest thing in the world. I gotta get her a doggy door and definitely a plastic pool for the summer. She loves being outside. And she loves me beyond reason. She's adorable! I'm probably gonna want another one just like her one of these days! ;-)"
Murphy has his own humans now! He lives with Brad and Teri in De Queen! They are like new parents with a new baby.....well, they are! They are tickled with Murphy and love him to pieces!

Jack is at home! He resides with Paul and Terry in Arizona! Paul writes, "Jack is doing great! He and our German Shepherd are getting along. We are keeping his name Jack. He has been such a great addition to the family and he is getting spoiled! We will be sending you a family picture soon. We could not have picked a better dog! Blessings - Paul and Terry"

This is "Jack after his first haircut. He has received all his shots and had a physical and was given a clean bill of health. Jack and Phoenix, the German Shepherd, get along great but the same cannot not be said for the cat! So far Jack loves the Arizona weather but the heat has not yet arrived. Jack has been a great addition to our family! Paul & Terry"
Sadie's mom, Rachel is only the left and Payton is holding Sadie! They live in De Queen, AR. Rachel LOVES her new baby girl and is such a good mommy! Sadie is the best dog, according to Rachel. We use the same veterinarian and the people who work there talk about how smart Sadie is and that she "knows" that place - comes in and walks to the back! Sadie is a regular there because the vet's wife and Sadie's grandma are good friends!

Eloise is in California with her new family! Kerry told us that little Eloise is doing well and now housetrained. She said Eloise knows several commands and is a smart girl! In the top picture, she is in her Halloween costume - a ladybug! Kerry said the pictures don't do her justice but she was just "as cute as a ladybug!" Eloise and her Shih Poo sis, Lulu, is shown in the second picture.

Scooter lives in Little Rock with his new people - mommy Kerri and family! She says that Scooter is doing great and goes for his second grooming date soon. "He seems so big now," Kerri says. "I can't wait to see how much he has grown!"

Scooter loves his new kids! He likes to snuggle with his Lab siblings too - he thinks that he is as big as they are!

Scooter's brother! (Kerri speaking) "Our vet can't believe how well he is doing with potty training and fetching. He can fetch just about anything he can fit in his mouth and is sitting very nicely - for a treat of course!"

Mogi, on the left, is now a part-time beach bum! He is in Harlingen, TX with mom Sandi and dad Chuck. Sandi says that he is a sweet boy, sleeping on or near her head every night! Daddy Chuck is enjoying Mogi too! If you're talking about human relationships, Mogi's mom and Sadie's mom are sisters, making Mogi and Sadie cousins! Sadie is the sable and white girl with the pink bow and is pictured before Scooter. But if you're talking about doggy relationships, Mogi and Sadie have the same daddy, Pedee, and are half brother and sister. Mogi is shown with his Pom "brother" Pip!

Chase is living in Virginia with his new family, Brittany, Diane, and Bob. Chase is a hit! Diane says they love him so much and everyone who sees him falls in love!

Chestnut (brown/liver) is now at home with mommy Renee, daddy Paul and brother, Coconut (white poo mix) in Raleigh, North Carolina! Apparently these boys play together and sleep together! So cute! Paul recently wrote, "Housetraining Chestnut was easy once we realized that consistency is the way to go about things. After having him for a couple of weeks, I would take him outside to the same place, at the same time, and say the same things to him. Eventually he started going to the bathroom. Now it is rare that he goes in the house." The bottom pictures are Chestnut resting and then the boys enjoying the snow!

Darby is now with her new mommy, Colleen, at their home in Austin, TX!

Curly landed in California with Enzo and emerged with tail wagging...according to Lauren!

"Enzo" Redford made his flight perfectly and according to Lauren, "came out wagging his tail!" We heard from Lauren, "Hey Risa, Thank you so much for Enzo, he is such a good dog. He is very smart too (he already figured out the doggy door). He also already started playing with our other dog, it is sooo cute. We took him to the vet on Wednesday and she asked for your information because she rarely sees such a healthy small breed dog like Enzo. He is sleeping through the night perfectly, and is very happy to see us in the morning. Thanks again, I will email you pictures of him soon! Thanks, Lauren.

Lori sent an update on Jazzy and says, "She weighs 5.5 pounds, but acts like she is a giant! She can sit and play dead which is so funny! She also loves to ride in the car. I ordered her a car seat yesterday so she can see without sitting on my shoulder. She is still the greatest dog on earth!!"

Lori recently writes, "We just got back from vacation. Jazzy stayed with her grandparents. They loved having her and spoiled her rotten! She got a summer haircut so she looks different! She loves it and it is great for 100 degree heat. Not that she is outside that much. She loves to chase birds under the bird feeder.....She is so awesome! The entire family is crazy about her!

Buster, now Tuffy, looking in the back seat at Ashley who just gave him to me to get some last kisses! He now lives in Marshall, TX with Wendy and family - including 4 other canine brothers and sisters!

Suki (dark girl), meaning "I like" in Japanese, and Yuki (white & black girl), Japanese for "snow", made their new home in Texas with their new family in June, 2008, but here, they have on their new dresses for their one year birthday party! Lori says that Suki is 5 lbs. and Yuki is 10.5 lbs. These girls are beautiful, Lori and Jim!

Lacey lives in North Carolina with Sandy and her family. Lacey is a sweet and loving little girl!

Daniel is in Miami with his new human, Debbie, her daughter, grand daughter and 3 canine siblings! Daniel is a loving yet curious little guy!
