Airplane FlyingAirplane Flying

My puppies are checked out by one of our vets and given a health certificate certifying they are healthy to make the flight and also at what temperature restrictions, if any. We fly Continental and insure our puppies. Continental assures us that our puppies are never left out on the hot or cold tarmack or in a hot cargo area. They are always in a climate controlled environment - even on the plane. They do not fly with the luggage. Locked safely inside their crates, the crates are strapped into a bay in the cargo area of the plane located behind the back wall of the cabin and the temperature is the same as in the cabin of the plane.
For our puppies that need to fly to their new homes, we do so from Shreveport, LA. We can no longer ship pets from Little Rock, AR. The puppy will be flown into the Houston, TX hub where there is a kennel on location. The puppies go to Houston first then connect to their destination flight. If there is an unforeseen delay at Houston, the pets are tended to by the on site kennel. Puppy would get fed, watered and the attendant would make sure any of their needs are met. You can see the info on their website at Continental Airlines Traveling with Animals.
Once you are sure that you want your puppy and have placed your deposit or made payment, we reserve puppy's flight. I will need to know a couple of dates that will work out for you to pick up your puppy from the airport as well as your name and address as it appears on your photo ID. I will also ask for your cell number that you will have with you the day your puppy comes home. If you have an alternate phone number, I will give that to Continental when I reserve the flight. I call and make the reservation then email your puppy's itenerary so you can print it. We make sure that your puppy is on its way before we leave Shreveport just in case there is a last minute cancellation. Once I make sure your puppy is in the air the day of flight, I continually track your puppy until you receive it at the airport. I usually send texts, if you receive text messenging, with updates. I make sure puppy arrives on time and departs Houston on time. If there are any delays, I will be on top of it and let you know immediately. When you pick up puppy from the airport, I ask that you call me as soon as you can to let me know that you have him or her in your arms! You know, I loved your puppy first and I worry until puppy is with you!
You can track your puppy's flight from the Continental website at Continental.com. Click on the "Flight Status" tab in the light blue box in the middle of the page. Enter puppy's flight # (that will be given to you on itenerary) and you can watch the plane as it approaches it's destination! I enjoy watching the puppy's plane as it flies!
All fees, including price of puppy, shipping and handling charges are payable NO LATER THAN ONE WEEK prior to shipment of puppy. I will be happy to hold your puppy, if needed, for up to one week after he or she is ready to leave. After that period of time, there will be a $4.00 per day boarding fee applied unless we have made other arrangements. This fee, too, must be paid in full before shipping.
Our puppies that we estimate will weigh over 6 pounds as an adult can ship between 8-10 weeks. In the best interest of a puppy that will be smaller, we will ship only after 12 weeks. Shipping is $275.00 to ship our puppies that are under 5 pounds when they leave. Over 5 pounds is an additional $50. We can ship 2 puppies in the same crate if they are the same age for the addtional $50.
