We live on a small farm in Southwest Arkansas, foothills of the Ouachita Mountains. We raised beef cattle on our farm until recently. I was a 3rd generation farmer on our homeplace. Now we raise dog babies and also work outside of our home as well. We love the outdoors and have many outdoor hobbies. We do not have any children at home and decided it was awfully quiet. Now our home is full of a huge loving canine gang! There is never a dull moment in our home!

"It has been my long time dream to raise dog babies," Risa says. "I take ultimate care of each of our parents and all of the babies born to us! All of our babies are born in our home. I take very much pride in what I do and the practices I follow. I continually strive to learn as much as I can about my dogs, keeping them healthy and being constantly aware of the environment in which they live and raise their babies. I am an ethical breeder and choose to make breedings occur - not just put a male and female together."

Our "doggy condo" facility came about as the result of lots of leg work and advice from other breeder friends of ours. Our breeders live here and have clean living quarters and plenty of fresh outdoor air when they choose. It is a very efficient, clean and temperature controlled. Our "nursery" is inside of our home so I can check on the mothers and babies often. Our whelping room/nursery is clean and well maintained in order to have the healthiest puppies possible. Puppies come into the world inside our home where we live and spend every minute of their lives in our living area until they leave to go to their new homes.

Our integrity has spoken volumes in that we have already had several repeat puppy adoptions by the same families as well as those families referring us to their friends and families.
